Eurocup-3 heads to Temple of Speed as Monza hosts Round 4

July 3, 2025 by

The 2025 Eurocup-3 championship reaches its fourth chapter this weekend at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale Monza. With the first half of the season nearing its end, the fight for the title intensifies as the drivers face one of the most iconic and unforgiving tracks in motorsport.

After a dramatic weekend at Paul Ricard, there’s a new name at the top of the standings. Poland’s Kacper Sztuka now leads the championship with 104 points, following a commanding performance in France that included a race win and another strong qualifying display. Behind him, both Mattia Colnaghi and Ernesto Rivera are tied at 99 points, keeping the pressure firmly on. The trio has emerged as the early front-runners in a tightly contested season, with Valerio Rinicella & Jesse Carrasquedo also showing consistent pace and the potential to disrupt the title fight.

Now comes Monza—one of the purest tests of speed on the calendar. Known as the “Temple of Speed,” the Autodromo Nazionale Monza features long straights, aggressive braking zones, and a need for ultra-low downforce setups. Key overtaking zones include the Rettifilo chicane at Turn 1, the Variante della Roggia, and the braking zone into Ascari. High-speed corners like Curva Grande and Parabolica demand total commitment and razor-sharp precision. Mistakes are punished severely, and the slipstream effect means battles can rage right to the final lap.

As always, fans can follow every session live on the official Eurocup-3 YouTube channel, bringing the action to viewers around the world.

Track activity begins on Friday with three hours of testing split between a two-hour morning session and a one-hour session in the afternoon. On Saturday, Free Practice will begin at 09:45, followed by Qualifying 1 at 13:10 and Race 1 at 15:20. The weekend concludes on Sunday with Qualifying 2 at 10:10 and Race 2 at 13:50.

The 2025 Eurocup-3 season continues to deliver unpredictable excitement—and Monza could prove to be a turning point in one of the most competitive campaigns to date.
