Back-to-back races for Eurocup-3 circus! Teams and drivers arrive directly from Jerez to face Round 6 of the season at Autodromo Fernanda Pires da Silva in Estoril this weekend (September 29 – October 1, 2023).
There will be 18 drivers again in contention at the Portuguese track with GRS Team welcoming Emerson Fittipaldi Jr after a final minute change with Daniel Mavlyutov returning to the team after missing last round.
Esteban Masson lands in Estoril after a double ‘zero’ last week ready to redeem himself now that his advantage has been reduced to just 7 points over Sebastian Ogaard, now P2 after taking his first ever win in Eurocup-3 with Mari Boya in P3 and Francesco Braschi closing the gap in fourth with his second win of the season at Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto.
On the other hand, the battle between Campos Racing & MP Motorsport is tighter than ever with both teams tied at 314 points with three rounds to go.
An action-packed weekend is ahead for teams and drivers at Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto with a busy Friday including a 4 Collective Test sessions while Free Practice sessions and Qualifying 1 are planned for Saturday with Race 1 at 16:50h local time.
Then Qualy 2 is set to be held on Sunday morning at 9:30h local time to finish the event with Race 2 at 12:45h local.
