After a one-week break for Eurocup-3 teams and drivers, Round 6 of 2024 season arrives as part of the NAPA Racing Weekend event to be held at Motorland Aragon on July 27 & 28.

Now, Eurocup-3 is ready for the first of three finals on Spanish soil. The series visited Motorland in 2023 with Esteban Masson as protagonist with a double win in a weekend where is main rival, Mari Boya, withdrew from the event due to a clashing FIA F3 commitment which ultimatelyproved to be a key point in the final battle for the title between the two of them.

The Teruel track, inaugurated in 2009, is characterized by its various fast and slow turns, a long back straight and significant elevation changes that will delight teams and drivers in a weekend of a lot of activity on the track.

As it stands…

Spa-Francorchamps and Red Bull Ring proved a fantastic start to the season for MP Motorsport taking all wins. The Portuguese round in Portimao was different, with Christian Ho emergin with R1 & R2 wins to put himself into the battle for the title alongside Sainteloc Racing’s Alexander Abkhazava, who took the win in crazy final lap in Race 3.

Then first visit to French soil put Christian Ho on top of the standings after his third victory in 2024 but an almost perfect weekend for Javier Sagrera at Circuit Zandvoort with 2 Poles and 2 wins brought the Spaniard back into the lead.

The standings

Now Javier Sagrera (MP Motorsport) leads the Drivers’ Standings with 167 points ahead best rookie Christian Ho (Campos Racing) with 144. Then former leader Bruno del Pino (MP Motorsport) drops to P3 with 140 while MP Motorsport’s Owen Tangavelou (124) and Campos Racing’s Valentin Kluss (91) complete top-5 after Round 5.
