The wait is over. The 2025 Eurocup-3 season gets underway this weekend at Austria’s iconic Red Bull Ring, with an impressive 27-car grid ready to light up the track in the opening round of the championship.
Following a thrilling off-season highlighted by the debut of the Eurocup-3 Spanish Winter Championship —crowned by Maciej Gladysz’s triumph—drivers and teams now face the ultimate challenge as they begin the hunt to follow in the footsteps of reigning champions Christian Ho and MP Motorsport.
Nestled in the Styrian hills, the Red Bull Ring offers a high-speed challenge featuring just ten corners but endless opportunities for drama. Key overtaking spots include the heavy braking zones into Turn 1 and Turn 3, both reached after long straights. The uphill climb to Turn 2 adds an elevation element that tests braking stability, while the technical middle sector demands precision. Weather and track limits are also expected to play a crucial role across the weekend.
Fans won’t miss a moment of the action, with every session streamed live on the official Eurocup-3 YouTube channel, bringing the excitement of the new season to viewers around the world.
The weekend will kick off on Friday with three 55-minute testing sessions scheduled at 09:00, 11:00 and 13:30. On Saturday, drivers will head out for the official free practice at 08:50, followed by the first qualifying session at 10:45, which will determine the first Brm Chronographes Poleman of the year ahead of Race 1 at 14:30. The action resumes on Sunday with Qualifying 2 at 10:00, setting the grid for Race 2, which will close the weekend at 14:10.
The stage is set, the engines are ready, and a new chapter of Eurocup-3 begins now.
