The championship\u2019s inaugural season will take place in 2023 as a new intermediate step between Formula 4 and FIA Formula 3, with a single seater designed to maximise performance at a sustainable cost for drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GRS, on its mission to offer young, promising drivers the best competition service to develop their careers during their first years in car racing, will race in Eurocup-3 with the objective of achieving high competitivity and contributing to the development and prestige of this new championship. As an additional strength for the team, Eurocup-3 shares its organization and the majority of its racing calendar with Formula 4 Spanish Championship, which implies more ideal logistics for teams taking part in both series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/389.785.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/IMG_4697-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15434\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>Josep Trinidad, CEO &amp; Team Principal<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Eurocup-3 first ever season will start on May 5-7 at the historic Spa-Francorchamps Circuit. The legendary Belgian track will host the F4 Spanish Championship season opener as well. The calendar of the new championship consists of 8 rounds, with two free practice sessions (40 minutes each), two qualifying sessions (15 minutes), and two races of 30 minutes + 1 lap on each racing weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the year, Eurocup-3 will race at some of the most recognisable venues in Spanish and European motorsport. After the season opener in Spa-Francorchamps, the championship will have its first Spanish round at MotorLand Arag\u00f3n (May 27-28). Round 3 will take place at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza (June 10-11), known as the \u2018Temple of Speed\u2019. The season will reach its mid-point in Zandvoort (July 15-16). After the summer break, the series will return at Circuito de Jerez \u2013 \u00c1ngel Nieto (September 23-24) and, one week later, we will race in Estoril (September 30-October 1). The penultimate round will take place in October at Circuit Ricardo Tormo (October 14-15), in Valencia. The season finale is scheduled to be held at Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit (November 11-12). All the events will take place alongside F4 Spanish Championship, with the exceptions of Monza and Zandvoort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chassis chosen is the Tatuus T-318, used in numerous championships. GRS Team has already experience with that car given the team\u2019s participation in Formula Renault Eurocup in 2019. The chassis, however, will be modified with an all-new aero kit, designed to enhance performance and on-track action. The engines will be manufactured by Alfa Romeo and supplied by Autotecnica Motori. They will have 300 cv and a <em>push-to-pass <\/em>system will be introduced. Hankook will be the official tyre supplier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cIt is a great pride for GRS Team to be part of brand-new Eurocup-3 championship.
