Eurocup-3 reveals its 2027 calendar as the championship enters its fifth season

September 23, 2026 by

Eurocup-3 has unveiled its provisional 2027 calendar, featuring eight rounds across Europe as the championship prepares for its fifth season. The new campaign will mark Eurocup-3’s first-ever visit to Hockenheim, its return to Spa-Francorchamps and a further strengthening of its collaboration with the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), with three events held alongside the championship in France, Italy and the United Kingdom.

Since its launch in 2023, Eurocup-3 has established itself as a major stepping-stone between Formula 4 and FIA Formula 3. Its fifth season will continue that international growth with a calendar spanning eight events and some of Europe’s most renowned circuits.

The 2027 campaign will get underway at Circuit Paul Ricard on April 30 – May 2, in the first of three rounds held alongside the European Le Mans Series. The French event will also feature the EPIC Sprint Race format.

Just one week later, Eurocup-3 will break new ground with its first-ever visit to the Hockenheimring on May 7–9. The historic German circuit becomes the latest addition to the championship’s increasingly international calendar.

Round 3 will see the return of Spa-Francorchamps on May 28–30. Eurocup-3 previously raced at the legendary Belgian circuit during its inaugural 2023 season and 2024, and its return in 2027 brings one of Europe’s most iconic and challenging venues back onto the schedule.

After a short break, the championship will head to Italy for Imola on July 2–4, returning to the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari after its successful first appearance in 2026. The event will be the second Eurocup-3 round held alongside ELMS and will also include an EPIC Sprint Race.

The championship then returns to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve on July 16–18. Portimão remains an established part of the Eurocup-3 calendar and will host the third EPIC Sprint Race of the season.

The final part of the campaign begins at Silverstone on September 3–5. Following Eurocup-3’s debut at the Home of British Motorsport in 2026, the championship will return one year later for the third event of the season alongside ELMS, further consolidating the relationship between the two series.

Hungaroring will once again feature as Round 7, with its date still to be confirmed, before the championship returns to Spain for its traditional finale.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the season finale on October 29–31, bringing Eurocup-3’s fifth season to a close.

Marco Rodríguez, General Manager at Eurocup-3 said: “As we enter our fifth season, Eurocup-3 continues to consolidate its position as an important reference in the step between Formula 4 and FIA Formula 3. The 2027 calendar reflects the international growth of the championship, with some of Europe’s most iconic circuits, our first visit to Hockenheim, the return to Spa-Francorchamps and a further strengthening of our collaboration with the European Le Mans Series. Our objective remains to provide teams and drivers with a highly competitive platform that prepares young talent for the next stages of their careers”.
